Zags go off against No. 4 ranked Wildcats, win 88-72

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga Bulldogs had a resounding 88-72 win against the No. 4 ranked Kentucky Wildcats in the Spokane Arena on Sunday.

The Zags got off to a hot start, outscoring Kentucky 41-25 in the first half.

In the second half, the Wildcats had a few scoring runs but Gonzaga responded.

Rasir Bolton led the team in points with 24, followed by Drew Timme with 22, and Julian Strawther with 20.

Strawther notched a double-double with 20 and 14, along with Anton Watson with 10 buckets and 10 boards.

The Zags shot 56% from the field, 37% from three, and 90% at the line in the outing.

The team will now travel to Sioux Falls to take on the Baylor Bears at the Sanford Pentagon.
