You’ll want to grab a wind breaker and some rain boots

A very active weather pattern is getting underway Wednesday evening and will continue through the middle of next week.

A series of disturbances will bring valley rain, mountain snow and breezy conditions to the Inland Northwest.

Rain will be stead overnight Wednesday, but taper to some hit and miss showers for the day on Thursday.

Steady rains return Thursday night and again on Friday night into a soggy Saturday. Temperatures will be around average for the next couple of days, but cooler weather is expected for the weekend, with snow levels dropping down to around 3,000 feet Saturday and Sunday mornings.
