WSU’s Lewis returns for one last season
PULLMAN, Wash. — After suffering a season ending injury just days before his Senior season last year, Washington State receiver Robert Lewis thought his college career was over.
The Southern California native was granted one more year by the NCAA so Lewis, who was one of Mike Leach’s original recruits at WSU is back for year number six for the Cougs.
Lewis has taken advantage of his time in Pullman, he already has one degree and he’s working on a second, which makes him a role model for kids in his hometown.
Lewis and the Cougs open the season Saturday on the road against Wyoming, kickoff is at 12:30 pacific time.
