WSU’s Brennan Jackson named Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Week
PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State linebacker Brennan Jackson was named the Pac-12 Conference Defensive Lineman of the Week.
This is Jackson’s first Pac-12 weekly accolade this season after earning the same recognition twice last season.
The redshirt-junior recorded five tackles, including two sacks and one forced fumble in the Cougs’ win against Arizona State. Jackson now has 10.5 tackles-for-loss and five sacks.
Jackson was also previously named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy. The award recognizes a player as the best football scholar-athlete in the nation for combined academic success, football performance, and leadership.
WSU has had four players receive Pac-12 weekly honors thus far, including Renard Bell earning special teams honors, Jarrett Kingston winning lineman of the week, Daiyan Henley winning defensive player of the week, and Jaylen Jenkins earning freshman of the week.
