WSU Cougars now number 7 in the country
PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University has moved up one position in the AP College Football Poll.
The Cougars are now Number 7 in the country.
Notice of their move came this morning in an alert from the Associated Press.
Other teams that have moved up or gained a spot in the top 25 include, UCF and LSU who are tied at Number 8, No. 23 Army who is ranked for the first time since 1996, and No. 24 Pitt.
Hopefully good things can happen for the Cougs this coming weekend in the Apple Cup.
As for the playoffs, it’s not over until it’s over as they say. There is still a possibility, albeit a small one, that the Cougs could be in the Top 5 come next week.
Things can get chaotic when it comes to matchups like Auburn and Number 1 Alabama or South Carolina and Number 2 Clemson.
We don’t recommend holding your breath, but there is still a glimmer of hope for our Pullman, Washington team.
