Woman wakes up to find stranger sleeping in her Kendall Yards apartment
SPOKANE, Wash. — A woman who lives in an apartment in the Kendall Yards development just north of downtown Spokane woke up Tuesday morning to find a man sleeping on her bedroom floor.
She got out of the apartment and called 911. Spokane poilce responded around 6:30 a.m. and found 26-year-old Nicholas P. Anderson still in her apartment, located at 1200 W. College Ave.
Anderson has numerous prior felony arrests, including one from an Idaho burglary incident. He was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail, charged with residential burglary and 2nd degree theft.
Spokane police officers say this scary situation serves as a reminder to double check that your doors are locked and windows are secured every night.
