Woman sent to the hospital after domestic violence shooting
SPOKANE, Wash. — One woman was been sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a shooting Saturday morning.
Just after 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Spokane Police responded to the area of 500 E. Carlisle to the report of a shooting.
27-year-old Danny R. Goodwin and a woman had been arguing inside the residence and the female reported that she had been choked by Goodwin, who proceeded to shoot her.
The female was transporting to the hospital for injuries which appear to be non-life threatening.
Goodwin and the woman have a relationship that qualifies for the domestic violence protection act.
Goodwin was arrested and booked for one count of first-degree assault (domestic violence) and one count of second-degree assault (domestic violence).
