Woman charged in murder-for-hire plot to face a judge Friday
SPOKANE, Wash — A North Idaho woman charged in a murder-for-hire plot will face a federal judge in Spokane Friday afternoon.
Katrina Danforth, who also does work in adult films as “Lynn Pleasant” was arrested on the charges as she returned to the Spokane airport from a trip earlier this week. She was immediately booked into the Spokane County Jail on a federal hold.
According to a grand jury indictment, Danforth is accused of using the phone and the mail to try and hire someone to kill a victim identified in court documents as R.H.
Danforth was married to someone with the same initials. According to documents filed in Kootenai County Court, she divorced from that man in 2014. The two had a shared custody agreement.
Much of that case is sealed, but according to records obtained by KXLY, Danforth’s parental time was suspended in August of this year.
Friday in court, a judge will hear arguments pertaining to Danforth’s detention pending trial on the murder-for-hire charges. We should also learn more details of the plot in which she’s accused.
