Winning $10,000 lottery ticket in Spokane still unclaimed

SPOKANE, Wash. — If you bought a Match 4 Lottery ticket in Spokane recently, you might want to double-check the ticket and turn it in ASAP.

Someone bought a lottery ticket with a prize of $10,000. The ticket was bought at the Fred Meyer on Thor Street in Spokane.

If this is your ticket, you’ll need to collect your winnings before 5 p.m. on September 3. That’s when the prize is set to expire. You can collect your winnings at one of the regional offices of Washington’s Lottery.

There are 15 people who have not claimed their winnings yet across the state. There is a total of $2.1 million in unclaimed lottery winnings in Washington.

Winners have 180 days after they draw their ticket to get their prize. Scratch ticket winners have 180 days after the last day of sales to get their winnings. Prizes that are not claimed are put in a reserve count that is transferred to the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account (WOPA), which helps support education in Washington.
