Whitworth Theatre presents its fall production “The Spitfire Grill”
SPOKANE, Wash. — Whitworth University’s Theatre announces their fall production, “The Spitfire Grill”, that will take place this October.
“‘The Spitfire Grill’ is a family-oriented, heartwarming musical based in the fictional, rural town of Gilead, Wisconsin. Written by James Valcq and Fred Alley, the story follows a young parolee as she tries to make her way back into society after five years in prison. She is taken in by the proprietress of the Spitfire Grill to work as kitchen help. A redemptive story of hope and forgiveness, ‘The Spitfire Grill’ is a fun, heartfelt folk musical that will leave you humming for days,” said Whitworth University’s Theatre Department.
The performance will be held on Oct. 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 14 and 21 at 2 p.m. in Cowles Auditorium at Whitworth University.

Adult tickets price is $15, seniors 62 and older as well as non-Whitworth students is $12 and Whitworth students have free admission with valid student I.D.
