What was that? People across the region say they saw a meteor

SPOKANE, Wash. — What was that? Around 11:50 p.m. Thursday, people across the Inland Northwest said they saw a meteor in the sky.

Did anyone see that flash in the sky just before midnight? What do you think it was? If anyone has video, we'd love to see it!

Some people shared with 4 News Now, they thought it was lightning at first. Many said they saw a bright light up the sky, then noticed it died off after a few seconds.

Others, confidently believe they saw a meteor passing over their home.
