What was that? People across the region say they saw a meteor
SPOKANE, Wash. — What was that? Around 11:50 p.m. Thursday, people across the Inland Northwest said they saw a meteor in the sky.
Some people shared with 4 News Now, they thought it was lightning at first. Many said they saw a bright light up the sky, then noticed it died off after a few seconds.
Others, confidently believe they saw a meteor passing over their home.
4 News Now has reached out to the National Weather Service for more information on just what it was that people saw.
