Wetter winter weather returns
Brisk morning walk in downtown Spokane with temperatures in the teens Friday morning.

Low temperatures in the teens will disappear for a few days while storms roll in and bring the chance of snow and rain.

The patchy fog throughout the Spokane area will burn off by late morning and we’ll see sunny skies once again this afternoon.

Friday night, the clouds will move in and help warm up the temperatures. 24 degrees is the expected low.

Saturday, looks pretty good if you’re going to be outside decorating your house or hustling around town shopping. It will be cloudy and around 35 degrees.

Monday morning, the Spokane area could see up to half an inch of snow on the ground.

“Tuesday nigh into Wednesday looks to be the worst of it next week,” said KXLY4’s Mark Peterson.

For those traveling across Washington, be prepared for snow in the passes. Snow is expected on both Snoqualmie and Stevens pass late Friday night into Saturday morning.
