Westmond woman struck, killed by car on US-95

WESTMOND, Idaho — A woman was struck and killed by a car on US-95 on Thursday.

Idaho State Police say a 62-year-old woman from Westmond was walking northbound on the east side of US-95 when a Toyota Camry struck her. The crash occurred around 12:47 p.m. near Cocolalla Loop.

The woman died at the scene. The driver of the Camry was not injured.

This incident remains under investigation by ISP.
