West Valley School District running 2 hours late due to traffic delays
SPOKANE, Wash. — West Valley School District will be on a 2-hour delay Tuesday, Sept. 24 because of an early morning traffic delay.
A driver crashed into a power pole on N. Argonne Rd. around 1:00 a.m., causing damage to the power lines and knocking out electricity for about 1,500 Avista customers in the Pasadena Park area.
Avista crews working to repair the power lines had to block Argonne Rd., from Upriver to Columbia, for several hours.
The traffic changes affected West Valley School District’s busing system, causing the district to delay classes.
