SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — West Valley High School is asking students and staff to wear blue on Wednesday in honor of a Central Valley student who died earlier this week from injuries he sustained in a car crash.

Idaho State Police said Adam England, 16, was driving on I-90 near Post Falls during a heavy snowstorm when he lost control of his car. He was standing outside his Subaru when a Jeep struck it, in turn striking England and throwing him from the roadway.

England was placed on life support and ultimately transferred to Harborview Medical Center, where he died early Monday.
