Thank you for being a part of 4 News Now Annual Coats 4 Kids Campaign! Every year the community comes together to collect, clean and distribute winter coats! All of the coats stay in the communities they are donated in!

Collected coats need to be taken to ALSCO for cleaning at 1923 N Waterworks, Spokane, WA. This is just off Trent Ave between Havana and Fancher. The volume of coats is too much for only the KXLY staff to handle, so please elect someone in your company to drop off the coats during ALSCO business hours 9am-5pm. Drop-offs during the collection period are encouraged, as the need for warm clothing starts soon!

For any Coats 4 Kids inquiries, please send an email to coats4kids@kxly.com.

KXLY 4 News Now thanks all of our incredible volunteers and community businesses who have helped bring warmth and smiles to area children over the last 36 years. Thank you!

2021 Coats 4 Kids Schedule

Collection starts on October 1 and runs through October 31.

Coats 4 Kids and COVID-19

Q: Is Coats 4 Kids happening this year with COVID?

A: Yes, we got the green light from the Spokane Health District to collect coats and distribute coats. We won’t be having any big events that gather people, but we will be collecting, cleaning and distributing new and gently used coats this fall. Coats 4 Kids is running from October 1-31.

Q: Can I collect Coats 4 Kids at my locations?

A: Yes, but this year, only sponsor locations will be provided with collection materials due to the 4 News Now building being closed to the public.

Q: How and when can I collect a coat?

A: Distribution details will soon be available on kxly.com. Coats will likely be passed out at the beginning of November.
