Weather looking perfect for Bloomsday runners
SPOKANE, Wash. — Bloomsday runners couldn’t ask for better weather Sunday.
As the massive 12K race gets ready to start, temperatures will be in the lower 50s. That will be a nice mild morning for runners to get started.
Things will warm up quickly. By 11 p.m., when most runners have finished the race, it will be in the lower 60s. Heading into the afternoon temperatures will be approaching 70°.
Those temperatures will be perfect for lunch and post-Bloomsday celebrations. Conditions will be partly cloudy through the day, with skies clearing by the evening.
