Water main break floods South Hill homes
SPOKANE, Wash. — A water main break at 37th and Stone on Spokane’s South Hill on Wednesday left screws scrambling to stop the flow.
A contractor working on a water booster station cracked a six inch water line.
Several basements were flooded at nearby homes, and one neighbor reported three feet of water shooting out of his toilet.
Crews patched the break and will be repairing the damage on Friday. 37th between Lee and Altamont is closed until further notice.
