WATCH ON GMNW: Fire near Vantage has now burned 7,200 acres. Trips across I-90 should be unaffected.

SPOKANE, Wash. — According to the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office, the Milepost 22 fire near Vantage has now burned 7,200 acres. Crews estimate it’s about 30% contained.
A stretch of Vantage Highway that had been closed has now been reopened. That highway runs parallel to I-90 just to the north.
