WATCH ON GMNW: A sexually violent predator is scheduled to be released next week to live in Spokane
SPOKANE, Wash. — Next week, the State of Washington will release a western Washington man classified as a ‘sexually violent predator’ to live in Spokane. He is still considered a danger to the community, and he has a history – an obsession, he called it – of sexually abusing children.
For the last nine years, 57-year-old David Durbin has been living at the Special Commitment Center at McNeil Island. He has convictions in Montana and Wyoming for sexually assaulting children. He was also caught watching kids through the windows of a clark county, washington home.
Durbin is scheduled for release to Spokane on Tuesday, February 19.
Watch GMNW right now for the restrictions he’ll have to follow and what local law enforcement have to say.
