Washout causes road block on SR 20 west of Okanogan
OKANOGAN CO., Wash. — A washout west of Okanogan reduced State Route 20 to one lane early Wednesday morning.
Okanogan County Emergency Management said the washout is about 10 miles west of Okanogan; just west of Rock Creek. Drivers should expect delays through the area.
Motorists traveling east or west on SR 20 between Twisp and Okanogan will encounter short delays, a lane closure, and alternating flagger controlled traffic due to a mudslide at milepost 222.4, approximately 7 miles east of the Loup Loup Pass summit. WSDOT has crews on the scene.

Washington State Department of Transportation crews responded to the scene and began assessing the situation before 8:00 a.m.
