Washington State has jumped up to #20 in the AP Top 25 Poll, following decisive victories over both Northern Colorado and New Mexico State.

Most notably, starting quarterback Anthony Gordon has been performing beautifully the past two matchups, averaging over 50 points and 400 passing yards in those games alone.

Washington State handily beat Northern Colorado 59-17 on Saturday, with no sacks against Gordon, who completed 31 of 39 passes, with one interception. Max Borghi, Easop Winston Jr., and Brandon Arconado also played stellar games, with the former running three touchdowns over the weekend.

The Washington State Cougars are sitting at a 2-0 overall record, and will be facing off against the Houston Cougars this Friday down in Texas, hoping to keep that lightning in a bottle.
