Washington QB Jacob Eason drafted 122nd by Indianapolis Colts

Washington quarterback Jacob Eason had a chance to go in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but many had him projected as a second-round pick. He fell further than that, but landed on Saturday.
With the 122nd pick in the fourth round, the Indianapolis Colts picked up Eason, who will be behind Phillip Rivers and Jacoby Brissett. Brissett is only under contract for one year currently.
Eason went to Lake Stevens high school in Washington, and transferred to UW for one season after starting his college career at Georgia. QB Jake Fromm assumed the starting role for the Bulldogs, prompting the move back home by Eason.
Eason is 6’6, 231 lbs and widely known as a pocket passer with limited mobility, but a lot of strength. Heading into the draft, he was ranked as the No. 64 overall prospect by NFL.com.

Another QB from Washington (Skyline HS) that was on rosters at BYU and Kansas and is now a 710 ESPN Seattle radio analyst, Jake Heaps thinks it’s a good fit.
