Verizon service restored across Washington
Reports of Verizon outage popping up across Washington

Verizon customers across Washington had 911 service restored late Monday night.
An updated advisory explained a widespread service outage had affected much of the City of Spokane, Spokane County and parts of North Idaho for a few hours Monday night.
Frustrated users turned to social media to vent their anger with the carrier. Verizon spokesperson Heidi Flato says the problem stems from fiber which connects cell sites to Verizon towers. She went on to say fiber company Zayo is working to fix the problem. There’s no estimated repair time at last check.
Chelan-Douglas County Emergency Management tweeted about service down in both counties.
Walla Walla Emergency Management posted this to facebook talking about how 9-1-1 calls are still going through with a delay.
Other emergency management centers say using a land line during an emergency is advised while an outage persists.
