Vandals Fall To Northern Colorado

Not much went Idaho’s way on Thursday night as the Vandals fell to Northern Colorado, 80-63, in the Cowan Spectrum.

Idaho was cold to start the game, with Northern Colorado building a double-digit lead 10 minutes in. The Bears were outstanding from beyond the arc in the first half, hitting 8-of-14, as the lead continued to grow, finishing at 41-28 at the break.

The Vandals made a push in the second half, with Victor Sanders taking over to the tune of 18 points in the frame. Sanders shot 58 percent (7-of-12) in the half, including 3-of-8 from deep.

But Northern Colorado always had an answer, maintaining its double-digit lead for the majority of the second half.
