UPDATE: Murder suspect pleads not guilty
SPOKANE, Wash. — UPDATE: William Bost has pleaded not guilty in court.
A man who hit a Spokane Valley deputy’s car last month and told the deputy “my wife is dead,” made his first appearance in court Friday.
Court documents show 59-year-old William Bost, who was wearing only his underwear, told the deputy, “she’s dead. The dog didn’t mean to do it…my wife is dead.”
Deputies went on to check on Bost’s wife, at their Finch Arboretum home, and found her stabbed to death.
Bost is charged with first degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
