UPDATE: Missing Kootenai county teenager found safe
HAYDEN, Idaho — UPDATE: Kathryn Ogle was found alive around 5:00 p.m. Saturday. According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, a resident provided information that led search and rescue crews to her.
In a release, officials said she appeared to be in relatively good condition but would likely be taken to Kootenai Health as a precautionary measure.The Kootenai Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for the support during this extensive search.
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing and endangered woman in the Hayden area.
Deputies were called to the 6900 block of E. Ohio Match Rd. late Thursday night. 19 year old Kathryn “Katie” Ogle reportedly left without shoes or appropriate clothes and was last seen walking towards a heavily wooded area nearby.
Kathryn has the cognitive ability of a 10-12 year old and is known to have multiple medical alerts. She is described as 5’4″ and 100 lbs. She has green eyes and blonde hair. Kathryn was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants.
She only recently moved to E. Ohio Match Rd. and is not familiar with the area.
Several local law enforcement agencies are assisting in the search. If you seen Kathryn, KCSO asks you to call 911 immediately.
