In honor of Tyler Hilinski’s upcoming birthday, the late WSU quarterback’s mom Kym and brother Kelly will make a trip across Washington starting in Spokane on May 21. Hilinski’s Hope, a non-profit dedicated to promoting mental health awareness among student-athletes, announced the news in a Tweet Wednesday.

Following their trip to Spokane, Kym and Kelly will head to Pullman and Seattle to thank supporters of the non-profit and their family. Their trip will conclude with a hike on Mount Rainier on May 26, Tyler’s birthday. Hilinski took his own life in January. He was 21.

Kym and Kelly plan to bring Hilinski’s Hope wristbands with them on their trip to assist their fundraising efforts. To order a wristband, email kym@hilinskishope.org.
