Troopers responded to a semi crash blocking westbound lanes along Lookout Pass

The westbound lanes of I-90 over Lookout Pass reopened just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday following a semi-crash.

Idaho State Police responded to the crash around 3:27 a.m. ISP said a freightliner tract trailer was traveling westbound and went off the right-hand shoulder of the westbound lane. The driver then came back on the road and flipped, causing complete block of the westbound lanes, according to ISP.

The driver, identified as 59-year-old Vladan Obucina. and his passenger were transported to Shoshone Medical Center with injuries.
