Two drivers cited for DUI after crashing into each other in Kennewick
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Two drivers were cited for DUI after crashing into each other in Kennewick on Thursday night.
Troopers say 37-year-old Nathan Murphy was driving a Ford Focus east on SR-240 near Edison Street when he veered off the road and crashed in the lane with oncoming traffic.
21-year-old Kimberly Santana was driving a Hyundai Sonata when she then crashed into Murphy’s vehicle.
Murphy was injured and taken to Trios Health for treatment. Santana and her passenger were not injured.
Both Murphy and Santana were cited for driving under the influence.
