Two arrested for smoking heroin in front of Moses Lake Police sergeant

MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Moses Lake Police arrested two people for reportedly smoking heroin in a residential neighborhood and right in front of a sergeant.

Police said a homeowner called to report a suspicious vehicle, and when a Moses Lake Police sergeant arrived, he walked up and found two people lighting up and smoking heroin in the car.

Christian Martinez, 23, and Satara Barrientoz, 26, were taken into custody and found to be in possession of heroin, police said. Both were booked into the Grant County Jail on possession charges.

The vehicle was impounded, and a search warrant for additional evidence in the car is currently pending.
