Twin boys killed in Weippe house fire identified

WEIPPE, Idaho — The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office has released the identities of the three-year-old twin boys killed in a house fire on Friday.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, twins John P. Carr and Shawn D. Carr both died in the house fire. Their parents, Chance Carr and Hannah Heuth, made it out safely.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshall.

The fire broke out early Friday morning, and by the time Weippe Fire arrived at the scene, the house was engulfed in flames. Carr and Heuth made it out safely, but their sons were unaccounted for, and could not be recovered until the flames were put down.
