Trial date pushed to 2020 for Asotin County judge accused of sexual misconduct
SPOKANE, Wash. — The trial for an Asotin County Superior Court judge accused of sexual misconduct has been set for March 9, 2020.
Scott Gallina was arrested in April for second degree felony rape, second degree assault and indecent liberties. He pleaded not guilty to the charges in May.
Court documents detail mutiple reports from courthouse staff who said Gallina had harassed, assaulted and raped personnel while working at the courthouse. All of the victims were women.
Gallina has taken administrative leave while his case proceeds. He is out on bond. His attorney, Carl Oreskovich, said Gallina adamantly denies the charges.
