Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers searching for high-violent offender
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Washington State Department of Corrections and Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers are searching for 31-year-old Curtis Gene Watkins, who is last known to have lived in Grandview.
Watkins is wanted for escaping from community custody, where he was booked for second degree assault charges.
According to KCPQ, Watkins was originally charged with attacking a man after destroying his car with a big boulder. He’s also accused of assaulting his uncle since escaping last month. Watkins is also accused of attacking a man at a convenience store in Pasco and DOC officers say in another crazed incident, he’s suspected of standing on the edge of a freeway and waving a shotgun at cars as they passed. Officers say he’s extremely dangerous and unpredictable.
Watkins is 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds. If you see him, do not approach, and call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
