Tree snaps, lands on truck waiting for crew to clear Mt. Spokane crash

A crash had temporarily closed State Route 206 near the summit of Mt. Spokane.

SPOKANE CO., Wash. — State Route 206 was closed near the summit of Mt. Spokane due to a collision.

Cars were backed up along the road while crews responded to the crash, and during the wait, a tree snapped and landed on a truck. It smashed through the windshield, but the driver was fine.

Other drivers on the road immediately raced over to get the man out of the truck.
