Treat your mom to local food and fun this Mother’s Day
SPOKANE, Wash. — Mother’s Day is just under two weeks away, and local eateries have some special deals to help you give your mom the best day ever!
Melting Pot is offering Mother’s Day dinner with fondue Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 7–9. Cheese fondues include spinach artichoke, maple bacon cheddar or sparkling gruyere, and you can grab a Mother’s Day entrée with sirloin, salmon, Honey Dijon chicken and ravioli, and you can even add some cold water lobster tail! You can also grab chocolate fondue, mom-osas (mimosas), as well as balloon and floral arrangements.
Rind and Wheat has a Mother’s Day tea kit with a selection of drinks from Revival Tea Company. The kit also comes with some goodies fit for royalty—a tea sandwich kit, petite quiche, English scones, clotted cream and jam, madeleines, macarons, croissants, lemon tartelettes and shortbread. $150 will get you a kit to feed four people, you just need to pick it up May 8 between 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Nectar Wine and Beer has a special step-by-step painting class Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Enjoy some mimosas while getting creative with your mom—you can also order food and drinks while you paint.
Maybe when you think of mom, you think of Southern comfort food—no worries. Casper Fry is holding a Mother’s Day brunch May 9. There are egg breakfasts, salmon hash, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, French toast, buttermilk pancakes, burgers, salads and desserts all on the menu for brunch.
