Tracy Claeys resigns as Washington State defensive coordinator
PULLMAN, Wash. — Tracy Claeys resigned as Washington State’s defensive coordinator halfway through his second year with the Cougars.
“We appreciate Tracy’s efforts the past year and a half and wish him the best going forward,” said head coach Mike Leach.
According to a spokesperson with WSU, “Roc Bellantoni will assume interim defensive coordinator duties and Darcel McBath will assume co-interim defensive coordinator duties moving forward.”
The news comes after the Cougars allowed 38 points to the University of Utah last Saturday. The Cougs have a bye week before facing Arizona State next Saturday, Oct. 12th.
