Tools you should keep in your car
You never know when your car is going to break down, or you’ll need some immediate maintenance. To be prepared, take a look at some tools you should keep in your car.
Multi-drive wrench: This small, useful tool has the ability to work with various sized nuts and bolts to help with some quick car repair issues.
Strap/rope for towing: In case you ever need to be towed, it’s a good idea to keep a strap in your car that you can attach to your vehicle to get towed.
Battery charger: For times when your battery dies unexpectedly a portable battery charger can help get you going again.
Jumper cables: If you don’t have a portable battery charger, then keep jumper cables in your car so that you can have your car jumped to get the battery going.
Basic tool kit: Keep a basic tool kit with a screwdriver, wire cutters and utility knife in your trunk.
Tire inflator: To prepare for low or leaky tires, a tire inflator can help buy you some time to get your car serviced.
Tire pressure gauge: To make sure you know how much to inflate your tires make sure to keep a gauge in your car to measure the air pressure.
