Three injured in head-on crash on SR395 near Loon Lake

Washington State Patrol reports three people were hurt in a crash near Loon Lake late Monday night.

According to WSP, 35-year-old Tom Evje, of Kettle Falls, was headed south on 395 when his 2002 Dodge Neon crossed the center line and hit an oncoming 1997 Honda CRV just after 9:00 p.m. Evje was inured and taken to Sacred Heart.

The CRV had three people inside. The driver, 57-year-old Daniel Phillips, and his passenger, 44-year-old Trina Dulaney, were both injured and taken to Sacred Heart. A 14-year-old male in the car was not injured.

It’s not clear what caused the Dodge Neon to cross the center line. WSP is investigating but has not brought any charges.
