QUINCY, Wash.– Three people were killed and two seriously injured in a crash just north of Quincy.

Authorities say the crash happened last Thursday when a driver was going too fast around a curve. The car tipped in gravel, spinning out of control. Four people were ejected and one remained in the car.

Irineo Soto Morales, Ernesto Cumplido Martinez and Isidro Rodriguez Salvador were all confirmed deceased at the scene.

Israel Gurrola Paez, who was found inside the car, and Gary Barnett were both transported to Quincy Valley Hospital by ambulance.

They were both later flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Paez was the only occupant wearing a seatbelt and is listed in stable condition. Barnett is listed in critical condition.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office Motor Traffic Unit is still investigating the crash. They say alcohol and speed appear to be factors.

It is still not known who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash.
