SPOKANE, Wash.– A third suspect was identified and arrested in a shooting at Swinyard Park.

The third suspect was discovered after the two previous suspects in the incident were identified in May. Deputies identified and arrested 20-year-old Elie Woods on Saturday for his involvement in the incident on May 31, where a pistol was shot in a fight in Deer Park.

The two previous suspects are currently in jail. 23-year-old Gregory Wilson was charged with second-degree malicious mischief, second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and fourth-degree assault; and 19-year-old Dylan Smith was charged with second-degree malicious mischief, criminal mischief and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Woods attempted to flee the scene but surrendered and was taken into custody by authorities. Woods was booked for second-degree malicious mischief and criminal mischief in the Spokane County Jail.

Deputies assisted in the Swinyard Park incident while investigating an assault case at Bear Lake earlier in the day.
