Third person dies from coronavirus in Grant County

GRANT CO., Wash. — A third person has died from coronavirus in Grant County, health officials announced Friday. 

According to the Grant County Health District, the man who died was in his 50s. He was from Mattawa, and passed away in his home. 

The GCHD said the man was not employed before or during the time he was sick. 

His marks the third death from COVID-19 in Grant County. A total of 155 people have tested positive for the virus in the county. Of those people, 8 are currently in the hospital.
