Third annual “dine out for our kids” is tonight
Spokane — The Third Annual Dine Out for Our Kids is back, with even more restaurants joining to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month! All money raised will help vital Spokane agencies to continue the effort to prevent child maltreatment across the Inland Northwest. Eating out tonight will help contribute to the money raised
Participating restaurants include:
Twigs – River Park Square, South Hill, Spokane Valley and Wandermere
Lost Boys Garage – Come enjoy the cars from Duke’s Auto Club!
Monterey Cafe Downtown Spokane
And new restaurants joining us this year:
Monroe Street Grill (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
And Jack & Dan’s!
These restaurants have committed to donate a percentage of their sales to child abuse prevention and to support the work of Partners with Families & Children and Children’s Home Society of Washington. The mission of Partners with Families and Children (Partners) is to prevent, interrupt and repair cycles of abuse and neglect within families. Partners is holistic provider of family services; a social safety net for abused and neglected children with the capability to provide wrap-around supportive services of mental health and substance use disorders treatment, and parenting education. Partners houses the only Children’s Advocacy Center in eastern Washington and northern Idaho offering these unique life-saving services in a one-stop center. Partners serves more than 1,000 children and families annually.
