Thieves steal an estimated $30k of marijuana from local grower
SPOKANE, Wash. — A local marijuana grower lost a major part of his harvest when two men broke into his warehouse in northeast Spokane.
Logan Hall, owner of Panoptic Cannabis, says video surveillance captured the men breaking in the back door and stealing nearly $30,000 worth of marijuana, or about 27 pounds worth.
Hall said he’s been in the industry nearly two years and this season things had really started to take off.
“My heart automatically just sunk into my stomach and I was just completely taken back. I mean, it was such a surreal moment. I was like, I don’t even know what to think,” Hall said. “So this is a like a major setback for us.”
Hall said the thieves even cut the internet cable in an attempt to disable the security system. He hopes someone will recognize the thieves and call police.
