There’s just one more day to prepare for snow and cold

SPOKANE, Wash. — A major winter storm will move into the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area Friday.

Light snow will develop Friday morning, with heavier snow expected Friday afternoon through the pre-dawn hours of Saturday morning.

Early estimates for Spokane and Coeur d’Alene are in the 6″ – 8″ range, but that could change.

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for the area starting Friday morning. Several additional rounds of snow are possible through the weekend, including what looks to be a second significant snow producing storm for Sunday and Sunday night!

In addition to snow, Arctic air will invade the area beginning Sunday night through the middle of next week.
