The warming trend continues… for now. -Kris
Summer is making an early appearance across the Inland Northwest. Temperatures will continue to climb on Thursday. In fact, Thursday will likely be the first time we reach 80°+ officially in Spokane. High clouds will filter the sunshine at times, but it will remain dry.
The strong warming trend continues Friday and Saturday with strong high pressure ridge in place. The ridge will start breaking down Saturday evening, and that could result in strong or severe thunderstorms. Cooler, showery weather is expected Sunday. Next week, expect temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s with mainly mountain showers.
