The top 10 most checked-out books from the Spokane Public Library

SPOKANE, Wash. – Earlier this month, the New York Public Library released a list of its most-checked out books of all time.

That got us thinking – What are the people of Spokane reading? What books do they love?

It turns out, Spokane Public Library staff members were interested, too. Their current systems allows staff to look up all sorts of data over the course of the past 20 years.

Below are the top 10 most checked-out books from SPL:

Library staff also pulled data on the top circulating items for 2019. More than 1.5 million items were circulated through Spokane’s library branches, including books of various genres, DVDs, digital items and even song downloads from Freegal.
