The Mariners spread the love of baseball in Spokane
SPOKANE, Wash. — A few players, the Mariner Moose, and broadcaster Rick Rizzs made the trip t0 Spokane today to thank the fans on this side of the state.
The Mariners made a few stops including Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, and putting on a clinic for kids at The Warehouse.
Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales was one of the players and was excited to get back to the town he played his college ball in while at Gonzaga. Gonzales told us that one of his favorite parts about playing for the Mariners is being able to bridge Spokane and Seattle together.
Other Mariners players in Spokane today were: Matt Festa, Austin Nola, and Dylan Moore.
