Test out a variety of workouts at the Spokane Health & Fitness Expo
SPOKANE, Wash. — Whether you are just starting your fitness journey or are super athletic, there is something for you at this weekend’s 4th annual Spokane Health and Fitness Expo.
With admission, attendees can join as many fitness classes as they’d like throughout the weekend. Local work-out centers will teach everything from yoga to barre, kickboxing and bootcamp. You can sign up in advanced here or join the class day of.
Event organizer Chris Cody explained, “maybe you are burned out on a routine, maybe you’ve been doing the same thing for years and you need something new, you’ll find it here this weekend at the Health and Fitness Expo.”
Ninety local businesses will be setting up booths at the Expo. Throughout the weekend, seminars will be offered on topics like nutrition and distinguishing between muscle soreness and pain. Roller Derby matches, crossfit competitions and challenges will be taking place on the stage.
The menu at the Fairgrounds concession stands will also add healthier items for purchase.
” We add things like a chicken teriyaki rice bowl, we add lettuce wraps…. so if you don’t want the bun you can have lettuce wraps and with lettuce of course comes salad and things like that all the nutritional stuff,” shared Cody.
By purchasing advanced tickets to the event, you can save $2. You can purchase them now, here. Tickets at the door are $8.
The event is held at the Spokane County Fairgrounds from 10am to 6pm Saturday and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
