The Spokane Chiefs were shut out for only the second time all season, 3-0 at Kamloops on Friday night. The loss was a season-high fourth in a row for Spokane, who will face the division-rival Tri-City Americans in Kennewick on Saturday.

 The Spokane Chiefs picked up their ninth win in their last 10 home games on Wednesday night as they defeated the Prince George Cougars, 4-2. Goaltender Reece Klassen picked up his first win with the Chiefs.

The Spokane Chiefs used a three-goal outburst in the second period on their way to a 5-2 win over the U.S. Division-leading Everett Silvertips on Sunday in Everett. With the victory, the Chiefs moved within one point of second-place Portland in the division and moved into fourth place in the Western Conference standings. The contest also concluded the season series between the two division rivals.

Spokane Chiefs goaltender Donovan Buskey picked up his first career WHL shutout and forward Luke Toporowski scored his first career WHL goal on Saturday night at Spokane Arena as the Chiefs exploded for seven goals in a 7-0 win over the visiting Prince Albert Raiders.

Rookie forward Eli Zummack recorded his first career three-point night to lead the charge as the Spokane Chiefs scored three goals in the third period and hung on late to defeat the visiting Portland Winterhawks, 6-5.

The Spokane Chiefs bounced back from a 2-0 first period deficit in force on Friday night at Spokane Arena, defeating the Central Division-leading Medicine Hat Tigers, 5-3. Second-year forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan led the way with his third hat trick of the year.
